Specific vehicle repair issues.

• Inspect subject vehicle and give recommendations of the issues. These services are provided by our sister company – Future Forensics (Also owned by Mark Olson the owner of VECO Experts)

Conference/training speaking on selected topics.

• Work with your staff on topics to be delivered to your group.

Shop boosters:

Have one of our people in your shop for an entire day (or longer) working with specific issues related to that shop. Topics can be technical, management or other. The appropriate person from the VECO Staff that specializes in that area will be dispatched to conduct the shop booster. These are based on the need of the shop.

Estimate training/coaching.

This can be done in person – and is as effective done remotely using technologies such as video and Gotomeeting platforms. Using CCC – P pages, repair information and actual walk through of estimates – Live with actual vehicles in your shop ongoing.

Remote shop audit:

This is conducted with a person you select to go through the shop and look at the major 10 steps of the collision repair process and shop equipment. This is also a great way to have your production manager/shop GM/quality assurance manager be trained in how to look at the shop. Done properly, this will give a solid snapshot of the shop in the areas of: Vehicle check in, pre-diagnostics, information for vehicle repair, process of the final repair plan meeting, following of procedures, proper welds, proper corrosion protection, use of the QC sheet, Refinishing, vehicle protection, equipment and materials. Reports will be done on our standard forms that we use in the standard VECO format for reporting. This is perfect for 3 things 1) get snapshot of shop. 2) train people on what to look for and why. 3) Identify shops that may need more detailed face to face assistance from VECO Experts expert partners in the actual shop. This does require some video training with the person that is being used for remote (about a 15 minute video on our YouTube Channel) You will get a “report at a glance” of quality and equipment when complete.

Remote Canary in the coal mine:

Interview to determine needs of a facility – and tracking of specific areas and address root cause of the issues. (This is done with the normal VECO Shop program and can be done as standalone remotely).

File Audit for compliance:

Review file remotely for compliance of vehicle check in, repair information, pre-photos, in process photos, final quality control and file close. The goal is to move the file to a point where the full electronic file tells the entire story of the repair. This will also help to identify what facilities are in need of face to face or remote coaching of the files. (This is done at one of your shops computers with a remote log into any one of your shops you select). This follows the “VECO Experts – Bullet Proof File” standard platform.

Train the trainer:

Work with your training department and train them in our methodology and our forms to have them do a basic inspection in the 10 major areas and also file audit.

Video Tech tips

• This is in development. We are going to be making 3-5 minute technical tips, new items that have come out, basic things. The first 15 will be the big rocks.
